Sudoku Generator, Solver and Guide
These tools help you make, solve and learn sudoku. Enter the digits you have to solve the grid or take one logical step, generate a batch or type your own clues, print empty grids, or follow the guide to the rules and techniques.
How to choose: if you are stuck on a puzzle you already have, use the solver and take a single logical step rather than the whole answer. If you are new to the game or want to improve, read the guide first; it explains the rules on a small board before the solving techniques. If you want puzzles of your own, use the generator, or type clues from a book or newspaper to check that they have exactly one solution. For drawing by hand or teaching a class, print the blank grid template in the size you need.
